Choosing the right size:

For the best fit, your trekking pole should place your elbow at around a 90-degree angle when standing on flat ground.

The 100–120 cm folding pole is best suited to shorter users or those who prefer a lower pole height, generally up to around 175–180 cm tall.

The 115–135 cm folding pole is better suited to taller users, generally from around 175 cm and above, and is the best choice for users over 185 cm.

For steep climbs, many hikers shorten their poles slightly. For descents, poles are often lengthened slightly for extra support.
